This is an adapter for Dewalt Miter Saws using the Airlock dust port connector. This adapter can be used to connect the sander to Ridgid, Shop Vac, Craftsman, or Festool vacuum hoses. The perfect accessory to improve dust collection. Now with a yellow marker to show that this adapter is for a Dewalt tool.
It will fit the following miter saws:
- DWS780 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw
- DCS361 20V MAX* 7-1/4-Inch Miter Saw
- This adapter has a TIGHT fit to the sander, so it won't come loose. GUARANTEED.
-The Festool version connects to the 27 mm hose with a twist lock mechanism
-The Ridgid, Shop Vac , Craftsman versions connects to the 1 1/4 (1.25), 1 7/8 (1.875) or 2 1/2 (2.5) inch hose ( this is the external diameter (OD) of the hose connector)
-This is a 3D printed custom part that fits perfectly and snugly. It provides much better dust removal when compared to the dust bag alone.
